Zakariaou Adam Maiga , the new niger amabassador in our country met the Head of State on Saturday (November 21st) during a ceremony held at the Presidential Palace in the presence of the Foreign Minister, Dhoihir Dhoulkamal.

In front of the press, the Nigerian ambassador reflected on the bonds of brotherhood that have united Moroni and Niamey for many years. He then added that the Nigerian President Mahamadou Issoufou is willing to « strengthen common interests » and to accompany the Union of Comoros in their vision of Emergence by 2030.
Zakariaou Adam Maiga justified the importance of strengthening relations between the two countries, which are members of several regional organizations.

According to the minister of Foreign Minister, Dhoihir Dhoulkamal, Niger is one of the leading members of the African Union and « there is a huge need to strengthen our relationship « , referring to « the major role played by Niger » in the implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area in May 2019.
