PUBLIC HEALTH: 21 cars destined for 17 health districts in Comoros

To enable health districts to work in the best conditions, the government has given them over 21 vehicles which cost 271 miilions kmf as part of the « comprehensive approach to strengthen the health system”. These cars will provide supervision in the various health districts of the country. When questioned by the press, the Health Minister Loub Yacouti declared that « These cars are intended for the supervision of health districts, » she adds, while showing that this stock has come at the right time”. As for the President of the Republic, he assured that the Minister of Health is working hard to improve the health of the population. « We learned a lot during period of corona virus when some people preferred to seek treatment in the nearest and private hospitals. These cars will help to supervise the work, » says President Azali Assoumani, while recalling that these vehicles must be used wisely in the professional setting and no for personal issues .
